Size & Fit FAQs
Why do you need my bust size to stitch a saree?
Your bust size helps us shape the upper drape correctly so the saree flows smoothly across your body.
Think of it as tailoring the drape, not just the length.
I don’t know my exact bust measurement and I can’t measure. Can I just give my bra size?
Yes – if you’re unsure how to measure, you can enter your bra band size (like 36) in the bust box.
Important note:
If you do this, please mention in the order note that you’ve entered your bra size in place of your bust measurement, and include your full bra size (e.g. 36B).
Example:
“Bust size entered as bra size: 36B”
We’ll take care of the rest and calculate your bust measurement accordingly for a perfect fit.
I don’t know my waist size and I can’t measure. Can I enter my jeans size instead?
Yes, you can! If you’re unsure of your actual waist measurement, feel free to enter your jeans size (e.g. 28, 30, 32) in the waist box.
Just mention in the order note that you’ve entered your jeans size instead of your waist size.
Example:
"Waist size entered as jeans size: 30"
We’ll adjust it for the perfect fit.
How to Measure
How to Take Your Measurements
1. Waist Size
Wrap a measuring tape around the part of your waist where you usually tie your saree.
Stand straight, keep the tape snug (not tight), and don’t suck in.
2. Bust Size
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape comfortably snug and straight across your back.
For best accuracy, do this while wearing a non-padded bra.
3. Height
Stand straight against a wall, barefoot.
Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
You can enter this in feet + inches (e.g., 5’4”)
Care Instructions:
- Dry clean only
- Iron on low heat
- Store in a breathable fabric bag
Skirt Style vs Wrap Around Style - What’s the Difference?
Skirt Style vs. Wrap Around Style
Both styles come with the same thoughtful features:
✔️ Comfortable elastic waistband
✔️ Adjustable fabric belt with multiple loops for a perfect fit
✔️ Strings to tie securely
✔️ Full coverage once worn
✔️ Same elegant drape and visual outcome
The only difference? How you wear them:
Skirt Style
You wear it like a skirt — just step in and tie.
Perfect for transparent fabrics like organza, as it avoids overlaps and ensures no leg show.
Often preferred by those who feel more secure with full coverage, or by individuals who are bedridden or have limited mobility, as it can be worn while lying down.
Wrap Around Style
You wrap and tie it around your waist.
Offers the same look and feel, but is often easier for:
– Pregnant women
– People with mobility challenges
– Anyone who finds stepping into garments difficult
💡 Our Recommendation:
If this is your first order, try one of each style to see which suits you best.
Same saree. Same features.
Two easy ways to wear – choose what works for your body, your comfort, your life.
Return & Exchange
Returns? Absolutely. Refunds? Not for the half-hearted.
